95% of 2 car garages are completed in one day. If your garage is larger or has more than the normal amount of wear and tear it could take 2 days.
Yes, this is included in our process, however, we cannot guarantee cracks. A garage floor coating is only as good as what it covers. This includes cracks and holes. If a home shifts, even slightly, a crack could reappear. While we do our absolute best to make sure they aren’t seen, it would be impossible to say they’ll never return.
You can feel the slight texture of the flakes with your hands, but they’re smooth. You can walk on the floor with your bare feet and not worry about the flakes poking you or stubbing a toe.
This is the bottom concrete border that is similar to your baseboard inside your home. It is a small additional charge to cover this part with epoxy flake and it is optional. This part is done by hand and will match your floor perfectly.
That depends. If you have cove base that is also covered with epoxy it will have a uniform look. If you have another kind of surface or molding there may be a very small space between the epoxy and the edge where the molding or wall is. This can be more noticeable in garages with a slope because the molding is often not able to be completely level with the floor. Most people do not even notice or are not bothered by it. But if you want to fill in these small spaces later we recommend a polymer concrete caulk or a backing rod.
We do not remove your personal items from the garage. If you have a refrigerator in the garage and need help removing it please make sure it is empty and that you have a place you can put it for at least 2 days. We're happy to bring our dolly to help with moving refrigerators if you don’t have one - just let us know ahead of time.
Light foot traffic is ok in 6-8 hours. We recommend 24-48 hours before returning vehicles and heavy equipment to the garage.
